in the UK

Widely considered to be the second best known active Reggae Female artiste (after Marcia Griffiths) JC has enjoyed a long and ground-breaking International Career.

Ironically, although born to a Jamaican Father and British Mother in London, JC is far better known at home in Jamaica and in the US and Far-East than in the UK and Europe.

This is despite having achieved Platinum Status in the Netherlands (Someone loves you Honey), chart successes in Germany and Benelux and a BBC Reggae song of the year award in the Uk (Telephone Love).

To rectify this lack of recognition in this part of the world (where her music is better known than she is) JC set up temporary base in the UK as of late 2001. Working with Jetstar and other UK based Producers she is actively raising her profile in this market and Europe.

She sees Touring and Live performances as key in earning her the recognition she rightly deserves in this part of the world and is aggresively pursuing opportunities in this area.
